Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Physics across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5
• Deliver engaging lessons that foster curiosity and a deep understanding of Physics
• Contribute to curriculum planning and development within the Science Department
• Monitor and support student progress, ensuring academic achievement
• Support examination preparation and provide academic enrichment opportunities
• Participate actively in the wider life of the school, including pastoral and co-curricular activities
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning practices
• Stay up to date with developments in Physics education and pedagogy

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with strong subject knowledge in Physics
• Experience teaching Physics at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5
• Commitment to high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment

Preferred

• Experience with curriculum development and innovation in Physics education
• Background in pastoral care or co-curricular leadership
• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
• Familiarity with professional learning groups or continuing education initiatives
