The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Physics across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5
- Deliver engaging lessons that foster curiosity and a deep understanding of Physics
- Contribute to curriculum planning and development within the Science Department
- Monitor and support student progress, ensuring academic achievement
- Support examination preparation and provide academic enrichment opportunities
- Participate actively in the wider life of the school, including pastoral and co-curricular activities
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning practices
- Stay up to date with developments in Physics education and pedagogy
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with strong subject knowledge in Physics
- Experience teaching Physics at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5
- Commitment to high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment
Preferred
- Experience with curriculum development and innovation in Physics education
- Background in pastoral care or co-curricular leadership
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
- Familiarity with professional learning groups or continuing education initiatives
- Interest in professional development and ongoing learning
