The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Religious Education Teacher to join a dynamic department that consistently achieves outstanding results. Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Religious Education across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, following the Edexcel and OCR syllabi.
• Contribute to the planning, delivery, and assessment of the R.E. curriculum.
• Support the Head of Department in maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative and engaging lessons.
• Provide pastoral support and guidance to students where appropriate.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Participate in departmental meetings and staff development activities.
• Stay up to date with current developments in Religious Education and curriculum changes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with experience in Religious Education.
• Strong subject knowledge in Religious Education.
• Experience teaching across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to student achievement and pastoral care.

Preferred

• Experience with Edexcel and OCR syllabi.
• Leadership experience or potential within a department.
• Experience in curriculum development.
• Experience in teaching at A Level.
• Familiarity with inclusive and differentiated teaching practices.
