Join a dynamic Maths Department as Second in Mathematics, supporting the Head of Mathematics in leading and developing the department. This role offers the chance to inspire students, contribute to curriculum design, and take on leadership responsibilities in a supportive and high-achieving environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Head of Mathematics in leading and developing the department
• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across all key stages (KS3 to KS5)
• Contribute to curriculum design, assessment, and departmental initiatives
• Promote enrichment activities that inspire and engage students
• Participate actively in the pastoral and co-curricular life of the school
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain and enhance the school’s academic standards
• Support the development of student confidence and achievement in Mathematics

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
• Commitment to teaching and student development
• Experience in teaching Mathematics at key stages 3 to 5
• Willingness to take on leadership responsibilities
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team

Preferred

• Leadership experience within a school setting
• Experience with curriculum design and assessment
