Key Responsibilities:

• Provide short-term individual, group, and crisis counselling to students
• Support students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs
• Contribute to safeguarding and child protection procedures
• Collaborate with SEND, SLT, teachers, and parents to develop support plans
• Support student leadership and student voice initiatives
• Deliver parent workshops and wellbeing awareness sessions
• Liaise with external agencies where appropriate
• Maintain accurate documentation and referral reports

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified School Counsellor with relevant accreditation
• Experience working within a school setting
• Strong understanding of safeguarding practices
• Excellent interpersonal, mediation, and communication skills
