The Opportunity:

As a School Principal K-12 Southeast Asia, you will lead the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of a dynamic international school. This role is ideal for someone passionate about education leadership, curriculum innovation, and fostering a positive, inclusive school culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic development and implementation of the school’s vision, ensuring alignment with global educational standards and the school’s mission.
  • Oversee curriculum leadership, ensuring high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment aligned with IB PYP, IGCSE, and International A Level programmes.
  • Monitor and evaluate student achievement, progress, and wellbeing, using data to drive continuous improvement and student success.
  • Foster a positive school culture by leading, inspiring, and developing staff through coaching, mentoring, and professional development.
  • Manage student admissions, placements, and support systems, ensuring smooth transitions and a safe, inclusive learning environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, health and safety, and operational standards while optimising daily school operations.
  • Drive enrolment growth and brand visibility through strategic marketing, community engagement, and collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure efficient and effective school operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven leadership experience in a K-12 school setting, preferably within an international or IB-accredited institution.
  • Strong understanding of curriculum development, particularly in IB PYP, IGCSE, and International A Level programmes.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse, high-performing team of educators and staff.
  • Experience in strategic planning, school improvement, and performance evaluation.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, student wellbeing, and fostering a positive school community.

Preferred

  • Experience in Southeast Asia or other international education markets.
  • Familiarity with the Reggio Emilia approach or other inquiry-based early years curricula.
  • Background in educational leadership training or advanced qualifications in education management.
  • Experience in marketing, enrolment strategies, and community engagement initiatives.
  • Strong financial management and budgeting skills.
