The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join a dynamic and innovative department. This role offers the chance to teach across the 11–18 age range and contribute to a school that values academic excellence and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons across the 11–18 age range.
  • Support students in achieving academic success through differentiated instruction and individualized support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Mathematics Faculty to ensure a cohesive and high-quality curriculum.
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of post-16 Mathematics pathways including A Level and IB Mathematics.
  • Contribute to the school's co-curricular programme by leading or supporting relevant activities.
  • Monitor and assess student progress through a range of formative and summative assessments.
  • Stay up to date with developments in Mathematics education and incorporate innovative teaching methods.
  • Work closely with the Head of Faculty – Mathematics and Computer Science to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire and engage students.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching A Level or IB Mathematics.
  • Familiarity with international curricula and teaching methodologies.
  • Experience in leading or contributing to co-curricular activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
