The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic School Receptionist to join our newly opened and expanding school. This role is ideal for someone who is a confident communicator with strong organisational skills and a willingness to be part of a proactive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and assist students, parents, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence efficiently.
  • Support the wider administrative team with additional duties as required.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all administrative tasks are completed on time.
  • Ensure the school environment is safe, welcoming, and well-organised.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, students, and external agencies.
  • Assist with the coordination of events and meetings.
  • Provide general support to the school community.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.
  • Previous experience in a school or reception setting is beneficial but not essential.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or administrative role.
  • Confidence in using a variety of software and systems.
  • A willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
  • Experience in a team environment and the ability to work independently.
