Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons that meet curriculum requirements and promote student success.
- Develop innovative teaching strategies and resources to enhance student learning and achievement.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support and feedback to ensure continued improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous development of the Science department.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and events that promote Science and learning beyond the classroom.
- Support the school's commitment to "students first" by fostering a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.
- Stay up to date with curriculum developments and incorporate new teaching methods and technologies into lesson planning.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance in line with school procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Science Teacher with relevant subject knowledge and experience.
- Strong understanding of Science curriculum and teaching strategies.
- Commitment to student success and a passion for inspiring young people.
- Experience in delivering high-quality lessons and achieving positive student outcomes.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to the development of the department.
Preferred
- Experience in a school with a track record of academic excellence.
- Familiarity with Ofsted standards and best practices in education.
- Experience with inclusive teaching strategies and supporting diverse learners.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents, and colleagues.
Compensation & Benefits:
