Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to students across all year groups.
• Utilise a range of teaching strategies to support student learning and achievement.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of a curriculum that is both challenging and accessible.
• Support students in developing a strong foundation in numeracy and mathematical concepts.
• Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning.
• Provide regular feedback to students and parents to support student progress.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain and enhance teaching expertise.
• Support the school’s commitment to whole-school numeracy and consistent teaching practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification.
• Proven experience in teaching Maths at secondary level.
• Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum and assessment requirements.
• Ability to create and deliver engaging lessons that promote student success.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

• Experience with Edexcel GCSE Maths qualification.
• Leadership experience within a school or department.
• Experience in developing and delivering CPD sessions.
• Familiarity with the Outwood Grange Academies Trust and its educational values.
• Experience in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
