Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to students across all year groups.
- Utilise a range of teaching strategies to support student learning and achievement.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of a curriculum that is both challenging and accessible.
- Support students in developing a strong foundation in numeracy and mathematical concepts.
- Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning.
- Provide regular feedback to students and parents to support student progress.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain and enhance teaching expertise.
- Support the school’s commitment to whole-school numeracy and consistent teaching practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification.
- Proven experience in teaching Maths at secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Ability to create and deliver engaging lessons that promote student success.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience with Edexcel GCSE Maths qualification.
- Leadership experience within a school or department.
- Experience in developing and delivering CPD sessions.
- Familiarity with the Outwood Grange Academies Trust and its educational values.
- Experience in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
