Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Design Technology across Grades 6–12, including IBDP and HSD pathways.
• Deliver engaging, hands-on lessons that foster innovation and high achievement.
• Develop and design curriculum and departmental resources that align with global standards.
• Assess and monitor student progress, using data to enhance learning outcomes.
• Adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs while maintaining academic standards.
• Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents to support student success.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and contribute to the school’s vibrant community.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant Design Technology field.
• Valid teaching certification meeting local regulatory requirements.
• Minimum 3 years of successful teaching experience in Design Technology.
• Experience teaching Design Technology at High School Diploma, IB DP, or A Level.
• Strong knowledge of modern Design Technology pedagogy and curriculum practices.
• Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred

• Experience with IB DP Design Technology.
• Proficiency with digital design tools and workshop equipment.
• Experience with project-based learning and hands-on instructional methods.
• Strong cross-cultural awareness and teamwork skills.
