Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality French language instruction aligned with the IB and Swiss Baccalaureate curricula.
• Foster a dynamic, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that promotes student participation and achievement.
• Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that support student learning and language acquisition.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive multilingual education experience.
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Participate in school-wide events, professional development, and community-building initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and classroom activities.
• Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Fully qualified Secondary French Teacher with a degree in French Language & Literature or a related field.
• Relevant professional teaching qualification such as Master's in Education, PGCE, QTS, or teaching diploma.
• Minimum of two years of extensive international teaching experience.
• Strong command of the French language and ability to teach at the secondary level.

Preferred

• Experience teaching within an IB or bilingual curriculum.
• Familiarity with the Swiss Baccalaureate programme.
• Experience with multilingual education and cross-cultural communication.
• Demonstrated success in fostering student engagement and academic excellence.
