Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans tailored to the needs of students.
- Deliver high-quality, inclusive lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for England and Wales.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with teaching staff, support staff, and parents to ensure a consistent and supportive learning experience.
- Provide pastoral care and support to students, identifying and addressing any safeguarding concerns.
- Participate in professional development initiatives to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with school policies and procedures.
- Promote a positive, inclusive classroom culture that encourages student engagement and participation.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Secondary Inclusion Teacher with a specialism in Mathematics.
- Relevant teaching qualification such as B.Ed. or PGCE.
- Proven experience teaching Mathematics in a Secondary classroom setting.
- Full working knowledge of the National Curriculum for England and Wales.
- Strong understanding of pastoral care and student support strategies.
- Ability to identify and address safeguarding concerns.
Preferred
- Experience working with students with special educational needs.
- Background in inclusive education or differentiated instruction.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
