Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, inquiry-based learning experiences aligned with the PYP framework.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages intellectual curiosity and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and curriculum plans.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, using data to inform instruction and support individual learning needs.
  • Participate in professional development and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Engage with the school community and contribute to the development of a positive, collaborative culture.
  • Support the school's mission to develop inquiring, reflective, and caring learners.
  • Maintain strong communication with parents and guardians to ensure student success.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A Bachelor of Education degree or an initial degree with a relevant teaching qualification such as a PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent specialism in Primary education.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching at the Primary level.
  • A strong understanding of the IB PYP framework and Approaches to Teaching.
  • Alignment with the IB Learner Profile values and a commitment to the school’s mission and vision.
  • Availability to start in August 2026.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching within an IB curriculum school.
  • Advanced qualifications in education or related fields.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL/TEFL).
  • Demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills within a school setting.
  • A passion for working in a culturally diverse and inclusive community.
