Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective EYFS lessons aligned with the British curriculum
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports the social, emotional, and academic development of all students
  • Plan and implement evidence-based teaching strategies that promote student engagement and achievement
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and the teaching team
  • Support the school’s commitment to pastoral care and student wellbeing
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the school’s ongoing learning and growth initiatives

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent in Primary teaching or similar
  • Proven experience teaching the British curriculum at EYFS level
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver high-quality teaching
  • Experience working within a high-performing teaching team
  • Demonstrated track record of outstanding teaching and learning
  • At least 2 years of experience teaching the National Curriculum of England

Preferred

  • Experience with cognitive science-informed teaching practices
  • Familiarity with the StepLab instructional coaching model
  • Experience in a school with a strong pastoral and wellbeing programme
  • Knowledge of extra-curricular and enrichment activities for young learners
