The Opportunity:

As a Secondary Integrated Science Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality science education to Grades 6 and 7 using Cambridge textbooks. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging science lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the science department’s curriculum and teaching practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A university degree and a recognised teaching qualification.
  • At least 2 years of experience teaching science at the secondary level.
  • Strong knowledge of the Cambridge curriculum and integrated science teaching methods.
  • Ability to teach in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
  • Experience working in an international school environment.
  • Valid visa for teaching in China, including compliance with all legal and employment requirements.

Preferred

  • Experience with the International Baccalaureate or similar curricula.
  • Familiarity with blended learning and technology-enhanced teaching strategies.
  • Experience in curriculum development and teacher training.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural team and adapt to a fast-paced international environment.
