The Opportunity:

As an SEN Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting students with additional learning needs. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure every student receives the support they need to succeed. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student outcomes and contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support learning and behavioral support for students with additional needs, ensuring their needs are identified, assessed, and followed up on
  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEP) and related support strategies, working with teachers to promote differentiated instruction and inclusive classroom practices
  • Support student emotional regulation, behavior development, and overall well-being, providing guidance to teachers and teaching assistants on inclusive education and classroom support
  • Promote high-quality inclusive classroom practices and student support strategies, assisting with training on inclusive education and student support
  • Build positive, professional relationships with parents, and collaborate with psychologists, therapists, and external professionals as needed
  • Support student transitions between academic stages, contributing to a positive, inclusive, and supportive school culture
  • Participate in safeguarding and student welfare initiatives, and contribute to school-wide development and events

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Psychology, Special Education, Counseling, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), or a related field
  • Experience in student learning support, inclusive education, or student development
  • Excellent English communication skills and strong interpersonal, organizational, and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work in a bilingual and multicultural environment, with a focus on safeguarding, inclusive education, and student well-being

Preferred

  • Experience with IEP development, behavioral support plans, or inclusive education programs
  • Experience working in an international or bilingual school setting
  • Hold BCBA / BCaBA or special education-related qualifications
