The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a dedicated Secondary Islamic Teacher to join its team in August 2026. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ academic and personal development through engaging Islamic A & B instruction in a supportive and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Islamic A & B lessons that develop students' knowledge, understanding, and values
  • Differentiate learning to meet a range of abilities and learning levels
  • Use varied teaching methods and resources to enhance student engagement
  • Assess learning, track progress, and provide clear feedback
  • Maintain a positive, safe, and well-organised learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to curriculum planning
  • Communicate effectively with parents about student progress
  • Participate in professional development and school initiatives

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies
  • Recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Islamic A and/or B at secondary level
  • Strong command of Arabic and proficiency in English

Preferred

  • Experience working in an international school setting
  • Familiarity with the IB curriculum
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
