Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and innovative lessons aligned with the IB DP Visual Arts curriculum
• Foster a creative and inclusive learning environment that encourages student expression and critical thinking
• Support students in developing their artistic skills across various media
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the quality of teaching and learning in the Arts Department
• Plan and implement lessons that promote student exploration and reflection on art
• Provide constructive feedback to students to support their artistic and academic development
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field
• Familiarity with the IB Diploma Programme Visual Arts curriculum
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage secondary school students
• Creativity and enthusiasm for visual arts across various media
• Ability to plan lessons that encourage student exploration and critical analysis of art
• Basic classroom management skills

Preferred

• Previous teaching experience, particularly in an international or IB setting
• Experience with student assessment and feedback in the visual arts
• Strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices
• Experience with digital tools and resources in art education
