The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver dynamic, inquiry-based maths lessons that promote deep conceptual understanding.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports student wellbeing and academic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement the school's maths curriculum.
  • Use evidence-based pedagogy and assessment strategies to inform teaching practice.
  • Promote student motivation, engagement, and a love of learning.
  • Support students in developing strong character attributes and life skills.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and reflective practice.
  • Work closely with parents and school staff to ensure student success.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • At least two years of post-qualification teaching experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • PGCE or QTS, or a valid teaching license from a non-UK country.
  • Strong subject knowledge in mathematics.
  • Experience in curriculum development and collaborative teaching.

Preferred

  • Experience with the IB Diploma Programme or similar international curricula.
  • Familiarity with action research and evidence-based teaching strategies.
  • Experience in promoting student wellbeing and character development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to internationalism, equity, and sustainability in education.
