Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver high-quality music lessons aligned with the school’s Secondary curriculum.
- Ensure effective planning, preparation, and assessment that meets the needs of all students.
- Foster a respectful and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and discussion.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the Performing Arts department to enhance teaching and learning.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the school and its music program.
- Support students in achieving their full potential through differentiated learning strategies and individualized instruction.
- Engage with parents and the wider school community to promote student success and school values.
- Utilize global partnerships and resources to enhance teaching and inspire students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher status with a minimum of three to four years teaching experience in Secondary Music.
- Holding a PGCE, QTS, or nationally recognized teaching license.
- A degree in a music-related subject.
Preferred
- Experience teaching IBDP or A-level music.
- Familiarity with international curricula and teaching methodologies.
- Experience working in a multicultural and international school environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
