The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Secondary PE Teacher to join our dynamic team. This role is central to delivering high-quality PE education that aligns with our school’s mission of inspiring students to become globally responsible and physically active individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging PE lessons that meet the needs of diverse age groups and abilities.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that align with the school’s curriculum and learning objectives.
- Foster a respectful and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support school-wide initiatives and contribute to curriculum development.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning and growth.
- Promote a culture of physical well-being and lifelong fitness among students.
- Participate in professional development and training to enhance teaching practice.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate regularly with parents and guardians.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher status with a minimum of three to four years teaching experience in Secondary PE
- Understanding of effective teaching and learning theory and practice
- Holding a PGCE/ QTS or national recognized teaching license
- Ability to teach a range of PE activities across different age groups
Preferred
- A degree in Physical Education
- Experience with international curriculum frameworks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced international environment
