The Opportunity:
As an SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering tailored education to students with a range of needs. You will work within a supportive and collaborative team to ensure every student receives the care, guidance, and academic support they need to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate teaching for individuals and small groups in line with the school curriculum and policies
- Monitor, assess, and report on student progress, using outcomes to inform planning and next steps
- Coordinate teaching, assessment, recording, and reporting across agreed subjects and key stages
- Develop, implement, and review individual education, behaviour, and support plans in collaboration with colleagues
- Create a stimulating, well-organised learning environment that meets the needs of all students
- Promote students’ physical, educational, social, and moral development in line with school values
- Manage and support challenging behaviour, encouraging self-regulation and independence
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified: UK QTS or equivalent, with a relevant degree
- Experienced: Strong understanding of SEN, including ASC, learning difficulties, and complex needs
- Compassionate & Resilient: Able to build trusting relationships with pupils who may have faced significant challenges
Preferred
- Collaborative: A clear communicator who thrives in a team environment
- Creative & Flexible: Able to adapt and innovate to meet individual needs
Compensation & Benefits:
- Up to £50,000.00 per annum (dependant on experience)
