The Opportunity:
As a SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting students with complex needs and helping them reach their full potential. This is a permanent, full-time position with a focus on delivering a personalised and impactful educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and review lessons that meet the individual learning needs of students
- Develop and implement a personalised educational programme tailored to each student’s abilities
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and progress
- Collaborate with internal and external agencies to ensure comprehensive student support
- Contribute to the school’s self-evaluation process and continuous improvement
- Support the professional development of colleagues and lead by example
- Take an active role in the day-to-day management and operations of the school
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified to teach in the UK
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience working with children and young people with complex learning needs or communication difficulties
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Preferred
- Experience in special educational needs settings
- Familiarity with the National Curriculum and alternative curricula
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Experience with behaviour management strategies
