As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students and contributing to a positive learning environment. This role involves working closely with teachers, students, and families to help pupils thrive academically and emotionally. Key Responsibilities:

• Support students in a 1:1 or group setting to enhance learning outcomes.
• Assist teachers in delivering high-quality lessons and managing classroom activities.
• Accompany students on educational trips and ensure their safety and engagement.
• Help create and maintain learning resources and environments.
• Engage with families and external agencies to support students' educational and personal development.
• Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all learners.
• Support the identification and documentation of student progress and achievement.
• Work flexibly to meet the needs of students, including those who are disengaged or facing barriers to learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Education to National Qualifications Framework Level 3 standard (e.g., NVQ 3, A/AS levels or equivalent).
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children and adults.
• Proficiency in using relevant technology and equipment.
• A valid driving license, a vehicle, and business insurance.

Preferred

• Experience working with students with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
• Experience in mentoring or supporting vulnerable learners.
• Experience in safeguarding and child protection.
• Experience in creating and delivering learning resources.
• Experience in working with families and external agencies.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive salary with payment on the 15th of each month.
• Full-time equivalent (FTE) hours based on 36 hours per week, with 35 hours of actual work required.
