The Opportunity:

As a Site Supervisor, you will ensure the smooth operation of the school by managing maintenance, cleaning, and security services. This role is essential to maintaining a safe, clean, and functional learning environment for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee general maintenance and repair tasks across the school site.
  • Coordinate and supervise cleaning services to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Monitor and enforce security procedures, including access control and visitor management.
  • Log all maintenance, cleaning, and security checks on the Trust’s electronic reporting system.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across the school.
  • Communicate effectively with school staff and external contractors.
  • Support the school in preparing for inspections and audits.
  • Assist with emergency procedures and respond to incidents as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in site supervision or a related role.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards and procedures.
  • Ability to use electronic reporting systems and maintain accurate records.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Commitment to providing a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff.

Preferred

  • Experience in the education sector or working within a school environment.
  • Previous exposure to Ofsted or similar inspection processes.
  • Familiarity with school operations and maintenance requirements.
  • Experience with emergency response procedures.
