The Opportunity:

As a Sports Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the school’s extensive sporting program, with a focus on football and rugby. You will coordinate fixtures, manage communications, and provide essential administrative support across the Sports Department, ensuring smooth operations and a positive experience for all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate football and rugby fixtures, officials, logistics, and weekly sports schedules
  • Maintain accurate records using school systems such as SOCS, iSAMS, or similar
  • Liaise with staff, pupils, parents, external schools, and governing bodies
  • Support tournaments, festivals, inter-school fixtures, and sports events
  • Provide general administrative support to the wider Sports Department, including Outdoor Education
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination across all sporting activities
  • Assist with the planning and execution of sports events and competitions
  • Maintain up-to-date records and reports for internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills to interact confidently with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, student-focused environment
  • Proficiency with digital systems and Microsoft Office
  • Experience in a school or sports environment is advantageous

Preferred

  • Familiarity with football and rugby
  • Experience in administrative support within a school setting
  • Strong understanding of event coordination and logistics
  • Ability to work flexible hours during term time
