The Opportunity:
As a Sports Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the school’s extensive sporting program, with a focus on football and rugby. You will coordinate fixtures, manage communications, and provide essential administrative support across the Sports Department, ensuring smooth operations and a positive experience for all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate football and rugby fixtures, officials, logistics, and weekly sports schedules
- Maintain accurate records using school systems such as SOCS, iSAMS, or similar
- Liaise with staff, pupils, parents, external schools, and governing bodies
- Support tournaments, festivals, inter-school fixtures, and sports events
- Provide general administrative support to the wider Sports Department, including Outdoor Education
- Ensure effective communication and coordination across all sporting activities
- Assist with the planning and execution of sports events and competitions
- Maintain up-to-date records and reports for internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with a wide range of stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, student-focused environment
- Proficiency with digital systems and Microsoft Office
- Experience in a school or sports environment is advantageous
Preferred
- Familiarity with football and rugby
- Experience in administrative support within a school setting
- Strong understanding of event coordination and logistics
- Ability to work flexible hours during term time
