The Opportunity:

As a Sports Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the school's Outdoor Education programme and sports activities. This includes planning and coordinating trips, tours, and camps, as well as providing administrative support across the Sports Department. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and student-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting Outdoor Education with trip planning, risk assessments, permissions, bookings and logistics
  • Maintaining accurate records on school systems (e.g. SOCS, iSAMS or similar)
  • Liaising with staff, pupils, parents and external providers
  • Assisting with Sports trips and tours
  • Providing general administrative support to the wider Sports Department, including Football and Rugby, when required
  • Ensuring all administrative tasks are completed efficiently and accurately
  • Supporting the coordination of Duke of Edinburgh and Ten Tors programmes
  • Assisting with event organisation and communication with stakeholders

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate confidently and professionally with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Proficient with digital systems and MS Office
  • Experience within a school, sports or Outdoor Education setting would be an advantage but is not essential

Preferred

  • Experience in administration within an educational setting
  • Knowledge of risk assessment and health and safety procedures
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, student-focused environment
