Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality coaching sessions to pupils aged 4 to 18, tailored to their individual needs and abilities.
• Focus on developing Girls Cricket, including training and match preparation for all levels.
• Work collaboratively with other coaches and staff to promote a positive and inclusive sporting culture.
• Support the school’s broader co-curricular programme and contribute to the life of the school community.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during coaching sessions and events.
• Participate in the planning and delivery of sports events and competitions.
• Encourage and develop the skills, confidence, and enthusiasm of young athletes.
• Maintain a high standard of conduct and professionalism at all times.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proven experience in coaching young people, preferably in a school or residential setting.
• Strong knowledge and technical expertise in a range of sports, with a specific focus on Girls Cricket.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take on a variety of responsibilities.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Preferred

• Experience working in a boarding or residential school environment.
• Previous experience in coaching at county or regional level.
• Qualifications in sports coaching or related fields.
• Ability to live on site and contribute to the life of a busy boarding school.
