The Opportunity:

As a Sports Pastoral Officer - Netball, you will play a key role in delivering a dynamic and inclusive sporting program. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of a high-quality Netball program for students of all abilities.
  • Assist with pastoral duties in the boarding houses and across the school community.
  • Work closely with students, staff, and coaches to promote a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Deliver coaching sessions and support the development of Netball players at all levels.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of sporting fixtures and events.
  • Contribute to the broader sporting and pastoral activities of the school.
  • Provide guidance and support to students, ensuring their well-being and personal development.
  • Collaborate with the Games Department to maintain and enhance the school’s sporting reputation.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A graduate with a particular interest in Netball.
  • A strong commitment to student welfare and community engagement.
  • The ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with young people in a pastoral or educational setting.

Preferred

  • Experience in coaching or playing Netball at a competitive level.
  • Previous experience in a boarding or residential school environment.
  • Knowledge of Benedictine values and Catholic education principles.
  • Experience with the development of sporting programs for students of all abilities.
  • A willingness to pursue further coaching qualifications.
