The role involves delivering movement literacy and strength and conditioning programs for students, supporting high performance pathways, and contributing to a thriving sporting culture. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strength and conditioning programs for students across all levels.
  • Deliver individual and team-based training sessions tailored to specific sports and performance goals.
  • Support high performance students in their athletic development and pathway planning.
  • Collaborate with the Games Department to enhance the school’s sporting program and facilities.
  • Assist with pastoral duties in the boarding houses and across the school.
  • Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to support student needs.
  • Promote movement literacy and athletic development across the school community.
  • Contribute to the delivery of a varied and inclusive sporting program that caters to all abilities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Graduate with a focus on Athletic Development or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of strength and conditioning principles and practices.
  • Ability to work effectively with students of all ages and abilities.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive sporting environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred

  • Experience in Athletic Development or Movement Literacy.
  • Previous coaching or sports development experience.
  • Interest in gaining Level 3 or Level 5 coaching qualifications.
  • Familiarity with Benedictine values and community-based education.
