The Opportunity:

A school seeks a passionate and highly qualified Teacher of Business and Economics to join its BTEC Faculty and Secondary School in August 2026. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Business and Economics lessons to students from Key Stage 3 through to A level.
  • Develop and implement engaging, innovative, and challenging curricula that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Use data to monitor student progress and provide targeted support and challenge.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and resilience.
  • Contribute to the wider school community by participating in extra-curricular activities and pastoral care.
  • Support the school’s mission of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A good honours degree and a QTS or PGCE teaching qualification, preferably from the UK.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in teaching Business or Economics.
  • Ability to teach Business and Economics through to A level.
  • Strong commitment to student wellbeing, pastoral care, and safeguarding.
  • Willingness to contribute to the school’s vision and values.

Preferred

  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Experience in a British curriculum school or international school setting.
  • Demonstrated leadership or mentoring experience.
  • Familiarity with the use of technology in teaching and learning.
