Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in English.
  • Experience in teaching English at Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Commitment to student progress and inclusion.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.

Preferred

  • Experience with Early Career Teacher (ECT) development.
  • Experience in delivering English as a Second Language (ESL) support.
  • Familiarity with digital and creative media technologies in teaching.
  • Passion for English literature and language.
  • Experience in pastoral care and student support.
