Key Responsibilities:
- Inspire and motivate students with expert subject knowledge and engaging teaching methods.
- Deliver high-quality, interactive lessons that foster student participation and learning.
- Support the continuous improvement of the school’s academic standards and teaching practices.
- Promote student well-being and progress through regular communication and guidance.
- Contribute to assessments, reports, and student records in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with parents and stakeholders to support student success.
- Create and enhance learning resources that align with the school’s curriculum and teaching standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and student welfare.
- Experience working in the primary, secondary, or college sector.
- Experience in state or independent school environments.
- Ability to create and review learning resources for online delivery.
- Computer literate with experience using online teaching tools and platforms.
- Strong understanding of effective student engagement strategies in your subject area.
Preferred
- Experience with teaching Business and Economics up to KS5.
- Familiarity with IGCSE and A Level curricula.
- Experience in online or remote teaching environments.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary of £36,000 (pro-rata for part-time role) plus antisocial hours allowance.
