Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality English lessons that promote student engagement and exceptional progress
- Analyze student data to inform teaching strategies and improve outcomes
- Develop and implement effective action plans to support student learning
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and drive school improvement
- Support the school’s mission to provide a broad and balanced curriculum
- Engage with students and parents to foster a positive learning environment
- Participate in staff development and training opportunities
- Contribute to the overall ethos and culture of the school
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in English education
- Commitment to student progress and school improvement
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to analyze and use data effectively
- Experience working within a multi-academy trust or similar collaborative setting
Preferred
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
- Leadership or mentoring experience
- Experience with curriculum development
- Familiarity with Ofsted inspection processes
- Strong record of student achievement and progression
