Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Physics lessons that inspire and challenge students.
  • Develop and implement a well-sequenced curriculum aligned with school values and outcomes.
  • Support student progress through effective assessment, feedback, and intervention strategies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the Trust to enhance curriculum development and teaching practice.
  • Uphold high standards of behaviour and conduct in the classroom and across the school.
  • Engage with students, families, and the wider community to support student success.
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities tailored to individual career goals.
  • Contribute to the school’s ethos and values through teaching and leadership.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS.
  • Proven experience in teaching Physics at Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Commitment to student progress and academic excellence.
  • Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-academy trust.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching Physics at Key Stage 5.
  • Experience with faith-based education or multi-faith environments.
  • Demonstrated leadership or mentoring experience.
  • Experience with curriculum development or innovation in teaching practice.
