Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Physics lessons that inspire and challenge students.
- Develop and implement a well-sequenced curriculum aligned with school values and outcomes.
- Support student progress through effective assessment, feedback, and intervention strategies.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the Trust to enhance curriculum development and teaching practice.
- Uphold high standards of behaviour and conduct in the classroom and across the school.
- Engage with students, families, and the wider community to support student success.
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities tailored to individual career goals.
- Contribute to the school’s ethos and values through teaching and leadership.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS.
- Proven experience in teaching Physics at Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Commitment to student progress and academic excellence.
- Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-academy trust.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching Physics at Key Stage 5.
- Experience with faith-based education or multi-faith environments.
- Demonstrated leadership or mentoring experience.
- Experience with curriculum development or innovation in teaching practice.
