The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Business Studies lessons that engage and challenge students at KS4 and KS5.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that promote student success and inclusion.
  • Support the school's commitment to character education and well-being through positive role modeling.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and enrichment opportunities.
  • Participate in professional development and research initiatives to improve teaching practice.
  • Contribute to the school’s enrichment programme and extracurricular activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and assessments of student progress.
  • Engage with parents and the wider school community to support student learning and development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Business Studies at KS4 and KS5.
  • Strong commitment to inclusion, student well-being, and character development.
  • Proven ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with teaching in a state school setting.
  • Familiarity with the University of Birmingham’s resources and partnerships.
  • Experience in curriculum development or enrichment programme delivery.
  • Early Career Teacher support experience or willingness to engage with professional development opportunities.
