The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and highly motivated Religious Education Teacher to join our dedicated team. This role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, while contributing to the academic and personal development of students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across a range of abilities
• Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to support inclusive learning
• Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback
• Promote high expectations, excellent behaviour, and a safe learning environment
• Contribute to curriculum development, schemes of work, and enrichment activities
• Support the wider pastoral and academic development of students
• Encourage student engagement and a love of learning through innovative teaching methods
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience for all learners

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified Teacher Status and a relevant degree
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the RE curriculum
• Experience teaching across KS3-KS5 with a proven record of impact
• Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities
• Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
• Commitment to continuous professional development

Preferred

• Experience with High Performance Learning (HPL) or similar teaching philosophies
• Background in pastoral care or student support
• Experience with curriculum development and enrichment activities
• Familiarity with inclusive learning strategies and differentiated instruction
