The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and highly motivated Religious Education Teacher to join our dedicated team. This role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, while contributing to the academic and personal development of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across a range of abilities
- Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to support inclusive learning
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback
- Promote high expectations, excellent behaviour, and a safe learning environment
- Contribute to curriculum development, schemes of work, and enrichment activities
- Support the wider pastoral and academic development of students
- Encourage student engagement and a love of learning through innovative teaching methods
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience for all learners
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status and a relevant degree
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the RE curriculum
- Experience teaching across KS3-KS5 with a proven record of impact
- Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities
- Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development
Preferred
- Experience with High Performance Learning (HPL) or similar teaching philosophies
- Background in pastoral care or student support
- Experience with curriculum development and enrichment activities
- Familiarity with inclusive learning strategies and differentiated instruction
