The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Mathematics to a range of pupils across different year groups.
- Deliver high-quality lessons that are engaging, challenging, and aligned with the Edexcel syllabus.
- Support pupils in preparing for university entrance and national competitions such as the UKMT Team Mathematical Challenge.
- Participate in co-curricular activities, including Maths clubs, academic surgeries, and university preparation meetings.
- Contribute to the pastoral care and overall development of pupils within the school community.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain and enhance the school's academic standards and departmental reputation.
- Provide individual and group tutoring to support student learning and achievement.
- Engage in professional development and ongoing training to enhance teaching practice and subject knowledge.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Mathematics.
- Experience in teaching Mathematics at a secondary level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take on a range of responsibilities.
- Commitment to the pastoral and co-curricular life of the school.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching Further Mathematics.
- Experience in preparing students for university entrance and national competitions.
- Involvement in extra-curricular activities related to Mathematics.
- Experience in a boarding school environment.
