Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in Religion, Philosophy and Ethics across all key stages.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a broad and challenging curriculum.
  • Support students in achieving academic success and personal growth.
  • Contribute to the delivery of PSHE as part of the timetable.
  • Engage with students, parents, and colleagues as an effective communicator.
  • Participate in professional development and continuing professional development opportunities.
  • Work proactively to meet deadlines and manage workloads effectively.
  • Inspire and motivate students through creative and innovative teaching methods.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in teaching Religion, Philosophy and Ethics.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to student welfare and academic achievement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • High level of organisation and time management skills.
  • Experience in delivering PSHE content.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching at both secondary and sixth form levels.
  • Experience with pastoral care and student support.
  • Leadership or mentoring experience.
  • Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices in RPE.
