The Opportunity:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting young people with autism and a range of additional needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Support students during educational and therapeutic sessions, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment
- Assist with hands-on learning activities, including arts and crafts, cooking, and animal therapy
- Facilitate community-based learning opportunities, such as money skills development
- Work closely with students in the therapy room, using sensory tools and music to support relaxation and engagement
- Provide one-to-one and group support during personalized lessons tailored to individual needs
- Encourage and guide students in developing life skills across a wide range of settings
- Collaborate with teaching and support staff to deliver consistent and effective care
- Maintain a positive and uplifting attitude, ensuring students feel valued and supported
Qualifications & Skills:
Required

Preferred
- Experience working with young people with autism or additional needs
- Background in education or care settings

Compensation & Benefits:
- Pro rata salary of £22,438
