We are seeking an inspiring Art Teacher to join a dynamic department and work with students from Year 9 to Year 13. The role involves teaching a range of art skills, including painting, drawing, printmaking, and sculpture. Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Art to Year 9 – Year 13 students with a focus on practical skills and theoretical knowledge.
• Deliver engaging lessons that encourage intellectual curiosity and active learning.
• Develop and maintain a stimulating and well-resourced learning environment.
• Support students in preparing for GCSE, A Level, and International Baccalaureate qualifications.
• Contribute to the pastoral, boarding, and co-curricular life of the school.
• Stay up to date with developments in the Art curriculum and industry practices.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the quality of teaching and learning across the department.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with experience in Art education.
• Strong knowledge of GCSE and A Level Fine Art curriculum.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities.

Preferred

• Experience in printmaking, sculpture, and painting.
• Familiarity with international curricula such as the International Baccalaureate.
• Experience working in both independent and state education sectors.
• Ability to contribute to the pastoral and co-curricular life of the school.
