The Opportunity:

A Science/Maths Graduate Teacher is sought to join a dynamic and supportive team in a prestigious co-educational boarding school. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a graduate to gain hands-on teaching experience while contributing to the education of students aged 3–18 in a vibrant, inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teaching and learning in Science or Maths, working closely with experienced staff.
• Assist with the delivery of high-quality lessons, tailored to the needs of students.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of lesson plans and resources.
• Play a key role in the running of the boarding house, including residential duties and pastoral care.
• Participate in staff training and development opportunities.
• Engage in the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and events.
• Support the induction and mentoring of new staff members.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with parents and guardians.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A relevant graduate degree.
• A strong interest in teaching and a willingness to learn and develop as a teacher.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Preferred

• Experience in teaching or working with children.
• Knowledge of Science or Maths curriculum and pedagogy.
• Experience with residential or boarding house duties.
• A passion for education and a commitment to personal and professional growth.
