Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-class support across all subjects to assist students in their learning
  • Deliver targeted literacy, numeracy, and social skills interventions
  • Work closely with subject teachers to develop and deliver resources and instructions
  • Support students in preparing for assessments and assist as a reader or scribe when needed
  • Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all students
  • Contribute to the overall development and well-being of students
  • Carry out other duties as required by the Headteacher within the grading level of the role
  • Promote the school's vision of 'Excellence for All'

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience working with students with special educational needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, adaptability, and a team player mentality
  • Ability to support students in a variety of learning environments

Preferred

  • Understanding of potential barriers to learning
  • Experience with literacy and numeracy interventions
  • Experience in a school setting
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
