The Opportunity:
As a Data Manager, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate student data across key stages and supporting the school’s reporting and inspection readiness. This is an opportunity to work with senior leaders and contribute to the effective use of data in student support and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain student data systems across KS3 and KS4.
- Coordinate assessment and reporting cycles to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Produce clear and concise reports for staff, parents, and senior leadership.
- Support colleagues with data queries and provide guidance on data management.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding and confidentiality requirements.
- Prepare data for inspection readiness and support continuous improvement processes.
- Assist in the management of data requirements across the school.
- Use and maintain data management software such as SIMs, SISRA, FFT, and Edulink.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- GCSE grade 4 or above in English and Maths.
- Advanced word processing, database, and spreadsheet skills.
- Proficiency in data management software used in schools.
- Ability to produce reports and format information as required.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and handling sensitive information.
Preferred
- Experience with data management in an educational setting.
- Knowledge of assessment and reporting cycles in schools.
- Experience with SIMs, SISRA, FFT, or Edulink systems.
- Experience in a school or educational environment.
