The Opportunity:

A Temporary Teaching Assistant is required to support students with complex needs and assist teachers in the classroom. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student learning and contribute to a supportive and inclusive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students with complex needs to access learning and achieve their potential
• Assist teachers in managing the classroom, including individual and group support
• Communicate clearly and confidently with students, staff, and parents
• Uphold the school’s inclusive ethos and promote positive student outcomes
• Provide general support in the management of classroom activities and student behavior
• Work flexibly and maintain a positive, professional attitude
• Contribute to the overall success of the school’s academic and personal development goals
• Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure a consistent and supportive learning environment

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualifications at least to level 2 or equivalent
• A genuine interest in young people and their learning
• The ability to communicate clearly and confidently
• Flexibility and a sense of humour

Preferred

• Experience in supporting students with special educational needs
• Previous teaching or educational support experience
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Experience working within a school or educational setting
