Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness across all areas of the school, including classrooms, corridors, and communal spaces.
• Follow cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.
• Use cleaning equipment and supplies correctly and safely.
• Report any maintenance issues or hazards immediately.
• Work flexible hours, including term time and some school holiday periods.
• Adhere to the school’s health and safety policies and procedures.
• Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
• Uphold the school’s values of Commitment, Courage, and Compassion in all interactions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• No formal experience required; full training will be provided.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and afternoons.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Good attention to detail and a clean, professional appearance.
• Willingness to complete an Enhanced Disclosure check.

Preferred

• Previous experience in a cleaning or maintenance role.
• Experience working in an educational setting.
