Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons to students across a range of courses.
• Support students through academic mentoring and cover classes in the absence of the teacher.
• Attend and participate in weekly departmental meetings and professional development sessions.
• Complete PGCE lectures and seminars on Monday evenings as part of the training program.
• Prepare, plan, and mark student work effectively.
• Engage in school events such as Open Evenings and Student Review Meetings.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the quality of teaching and learning.
• Contribute to the development of innovative curriculum and resources.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A relevant degree in Mathematics.
• No prior teaching qualification.
• Commitment to a career in teaching.
• Experience of working with young adults, preferred.

Preferred

• Experience in an educational environment or shadowing teachers.
• Evidence of collaborative working with adults.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation & Benefits:
