As a Learning Support Assistant, you will provide essential 1:1 support to pupils in Lower School, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and thrive socially and academically. This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a difference in the lives of young children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils with individual learning needs through 1:1 assistance.
• Work closely with Class Teachers and SENCO to ensure pupils receive tailored support.
• Develop and implement strategies to help pupils reach their full potential.
• Communicate regularly with parents and staff to maintain consistent support for pupils.
• Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Assist in the planning and delivery of learning activities.
• Monitor and report on pupil progress and development.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Relevant experience or training in education or child support.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive, flexible, and caring attitude.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff members.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.

Preferred

• Experience working with children with special educational needs.
• Knowledge of inclusive teaching practices.
• Experience in a school or educational setting.
• Familiarity with safeguarding policies and procedures.
