Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong, strategic leadership to ensure the Trust's vision for high-quality and inclusive education is realized.
  • Ensure accountability and assurance for the Trust’s operations, performance, and financial management.
  • Engage effectively with stakeholders, including staff, students, parents, and local communities.
  • Support the development and implementation of policies that promote educational excellence and inclusion.
  • Oversee the welfare of pupils and staff, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Participate in meetings, visits, and training to fulfill the Trust’s obligations and responsibilities.
  • Contribute to the governance and decision-making processes that shape the Trust’s future.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A commitment to improving educational outcomes for young people.
  • Willingness to engage in training and development provided by the Trust.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the Trust.

Preferred

  • Experience in primary and secondary education.
  • Background in special educational needs and inclusion.
  • Experience in finance, audit, or business leadership.
  • Experience in HR or people development.
