Key Responsibilities:

• Teach A Level Music (Eduqas) and/or BTEC Music Performance (Pearson)
• Deliver engaging lessons that inspire students and promote academic success
• Provide weekly student support sessions where applicable
• Contribute to departmental activities and enrichment programs
• Attend meetings, open evenings, and parents’ evenings
• Promote safeguarding, equality, inclusion, and the school’s core values

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A degree in Music or a related subject
• Strong academic knowledge suitable for teaching A Level Music
• Teaching experience or relevant experience working with young people aged 16–19
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Flexibility, enthusiasm, and a collaborative approach

Preferred

• Experience teaching BTEC Music Performance
• Academic music graduate with expertise in advanced musical concepts
• Experience in job sharing or part-time teaching arrangements
